By Train
Newcastle Central Station is less than a five minute Metro ride away.
Newcastle Central Station is a one hour train ride away from York and
approximately 2½ hours from London.
By Air
Newcastle International Airport is a 20 minute Metro ride from Newcastle
Central Station. It serves domestic airports, Scandinavia, Continental
Europe and many other holiday destinations.
By Metro
There are 46 Metro Stations serving North Tyneside, Newcastle City,
South Tyneside and part of Gateshead. Gateshead Stadium Metro Station is
only 10 minutes walk from Gateshead International Stadium. Services to South
Shields (East) run every eight minutes until 7.00pm and then every 15
minutes. Services to Newcastle/Gateshead (West) run every four minutes until
7.00pm and then every eight minutes. It is only 55p from Gateshead Stadium
Metro Station to Gateshead Bus/Metro Interchange.
